Chalk Talk: How to Become More Involved in Your Student's Education
It is important to become involved in your student's education so that they will receive the best education that they can. Here are some ways in which you can help your student achieve academic success. First, help your student establish a regular schedule for getting ready for school, doing homework, and going to bed. Next, stay informed about activities within the school and volunteer to help when you can. Work with your student's teachers to set academic goals. Encourage him or her to read on their own time. Take educational trips together. If your child is struggling, seek out someone who can help. When parents, children, and teachers work together, students are more likely to succeed.
