Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Weston District Curriculum
Students participate in coursework from mathematics, English, science, social studies, world languages, visual arts, music, physical education and technology at the elementary, middle, and high school level. Honors, College Prep, and Advanced Placement coursework is available at the high school level for those who qualify. World languages courses also incorporate activities that highlight unique cultural characteristics and connect language to other academic areas such as the arts.
Classroom teachers, counselors, and technology teachers all participate in the planning, instruction, and assessment so that students receive the highest quality education and accountability. Student progress is measured in a number of ways, including standardized testing, group projects, and authentic assessment.
