Educating Our Parents: Understanding the White Bear Lake District Curriculum

High school students may enroll in Advanced Placement classes in a variety of areas and earn college credits with a passing score on qualifying examinations. The White Bear Lake Area Schools District also offers introductory level college courses through the University of Minnesota. Additionally, 11th and 12th grade students may take part in vocational programs at Northeast Metropolitan Technical College. Chalk Talk: IB Middle Years Programme

Both Central and Sunrise Park Middle Schools were accepted as International Baccalaureate Candidate Schools. The Middle Years Programme focuses on intellectual challenge, and encourages students to make connections between their core subjects and the real world.
