Willow Street District and Curriculum
With so many technological and scientific advances today, it is important that they receive the education that they need to pursue their goals and dreams after graduation. Students in the Penn Manor School District receive just that. They pride themselves in a large number of their students pursuing a college education after graduation. This is based in their solid foundation of Core subjects that they provide students with as well as their continuing of this education along with many other courses which will benefit students as they go along.
We currently cover the following Willow Street-area school district: Penn Manor School District.
Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Willow Street District Curriculum
The curriculum is set up for all students to succeed. Where there are exceptional students needing special education, Gifted education or ESL (English as a Second Language) services, these are provided. Students must be evaluated for these programs and meet certain qualifications to receive the extra help or challenge. Once it is determined that a student needs extra support, an individual learning plan is put into place which will be followed as long as the student is in the district or until such assistance is no longer needed.
Middle and High School students are encouraged to explore and develop interests and skills in a career or vocation that interests them and which will utilize their individual talents as well as provide a way for them to serve and earn a good income once goals are achieved. With this in mind, students are offered many elective courses which are designed to prepare students in such interests that they may have.

Chalk Talk: How to Write an A+ Paper
Writing a paper is rarely what students think of as fun. There are, however, ways in which you can make your paper high quality. First, know what you’re writing and who you are writing to. Knowing your audience can make the difference of a letter grade on your paper. Do the research, if necessary. When doing research, always use sources that would be considered credible, and site them in your work. Right an outline before you ever write a draft. This will help you focus and state everything that you need to say before you get caught in one or two details and forget the rest. Write your first draft and read it over. Does it follow the outline? Does it make the point you are trying to make? Does it speak to your audience? Once you have revised your paper several times, have someone else look over it and listen to their comments. Having one to three other people read over it can be very helpful. You may even be able to get your teacher to read over it and give you comments.
