To prepare students to make sound financial decisions, Worthington Schools has implemented a financial literacy curriculum. Learners develop an understanding of financial conditions that impact their material wellbeing. Students learn about careers as well, including how one’s career choice will greatly impact lifetime earning potential.

The college essay is an extremely important part of your child’s college application experience. But writing the perfect essay doesn’t have to be a difficult process. First, encourage your child to utilize the essay as an opportunity to stand out from the crowd. The more they highlight their individuality and uniqueness, the more likely the admissions officer will remember. Second, your child needs to be concise in their writing. This doesn’t mean they should cut corners; rather, they should get to the point. Admissions officers have hundreds of essays to read, so they will appreciate a writer that doesn’t waste their time. Lastly, your child should convey their intellectual abilities in their essay. College officials will be interested in what your child likes to study and why.
