To me, the most important thing about education is learning how to learn. Children learn differently; therefore this is important.I believe that part of teaching is helping children figure out how they best understand information. Different school subjects make us think in different ways, helping us to be creative in the way we think.
In primary school, I was taught using the Montessori method. I completed the International Baccalaureate in high school. In University, I completed a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Ottawa. Moving forward, I am looking to complete a Master’s Degree and then move on to Teacher’s College.
While in high school and university, I spent many hours helping peers and fellow classmates. I found that this was instrumental to the high grades I got throughout my academic career.
I play curling in the winter in a social league. I also contribute to poetry blogs.
