I believe that every student can learn, but they all learn in different ways. We as educators need to find the ways that they learn best, as we know that every student can succeed if given the chance.
I started my teaching in high school where I tutored classmates after school. I taught preschool as one of my classes in high school also. I then continued on, in a daycare setting. Then, I went to Central Michigan University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.
I have experience teaching and tutoring at many different age groups from Kindergarten through high school.
I was on the National honor society in high school, where we had many volunteer opportunities. Then, in college I was a part of TASK, which stands for “Take A Stand For Kids.” Now that my own children are in school I volunteer to work with students in the hallway tutoring them in different subject areas, as needed.
