EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
All children can learn. Often teachers teach to the middle because of time constraints and testing requirements. I believe in meeting students where they are and moving forward from that point. It has been highly successful and students feel a high level of accomplishment when they see their achievement levels improve.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I have earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington, and a
Master’s Degree in Education from James Madison University. In addition, I have obtained an
administrative endorsement from the University of Mary Washington. I am a certified teacher in Virginia.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I have hosted an after school Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) club. I have also served as an instructional coach for other teachers aiming to learn more about STEM. In addition, I tutor students after school, as I love seeing students achieve their goals!
