I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. It is my desire, as an educator, to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas.

I received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Colorado State University in 2002. I also received my Colorado Teachers License in Secondary Science from Colorado State University in 2010. I am currently working towards a Masters in Professional School Counseling from Adams State University.

I have over 5 years experience both in the classroom and online.

I love to spend time with my family, hiking, camping and gardening. I love being outdoors and consider myself blessed to live in the beautiful state of Colorado where I can experience new outdoor adventures every day.
