My educational philosophy is centered around improving the lives of students academically and mentally. I believe that all students are capable of learning. A traditional teacher is one who achieves the same results over and over; however, I am a teacher who teaches to the diverse group of students in the classroom. I believe that all students are gifted and unique in their own special way. Every student should be given the opportunity to love and learn in the classroom.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Master’s Degree in Human Services. In addition to this, I constantly strive to improve my knowledge in the education field by taking additional, relevant courses.

I have worked in public school system in Mississippi for four years. I started out as a middle school science teacher for a year. I was then moved to the high school, where I became a high school science teacher. This past year I taught Biology 2, middle school science and after school tutorial.

My extracurricular activities are going to school and working on my after school tutorial. I also love the outdoors and spending time with my children. I am extremely excited about working with students and helping them achieve their goals.
