I believe education should be accessible to everyone. Students learn and grow via several different methods and therefore, it is absolutely necessary for teachers to possess a myriad of tools to facilitate every student’s academic development. Any kind of learning resource that will aid in a student’s capacity to retain information should be used. Learning should feel like an exploration, not a task!
I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in History from the State University of New York at Buffalo. I have a Master’s in Cultural Anthropology from the State University of New York at Binghamton as well as a Bachelor’s in Spanish from New Mexico State University.
I have over 10 years of experience as an instructor at the college level.
I enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, backpacking, camping, and gardening. The majority of my free time is spent practicing and skating with my local roller derby league.
