I believe that a student’s success is in the hands of a tutor. Academic excellence is something I strive for with all my students. Every student has potential to improve and understand the necessary concepts and strategies to fully comprehend the material. I envision learning as a tool for success. I also believe learning should not be dull, but creative and foster a sense of interest.

I completed my PhD in History at the University of California – East Bay. Prior to that, I attended the University of California – Davis to complete my Bachelor’s Degree in History.

I have six years of experience teaching in the college setting. I also have experience tutoring Math and History for AP Exams.

I like to hike, sight-see, volunteer, bicycle, and workout at the gym as much as I can.
