I believe that every student can learn. I believe that with the right support and instructional strategies that every student can be successful.

I hold both an undergraduate and a graduate degree. I received my B.A from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. I received my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Instructional Technology from National University.

I have worked with students for over 10 years. I have tutored as well as been a lead teacher in a Head Start/ Child Development setting; been a regular classroom teacher in the elementary and middle school grades; I have also been an elementary school math facilitator.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling, cooking, sewing, reading, learning about technology, and spending time with my loved ones.
