I fully support and guide my students through the process of learning. I prefer the role of facilitator, that way the students learn the method and are able to retain the material taught.

I have my Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in International Development and Spanish. I studied for a semester in Cuba, where all my courses were taught in Spanish. This experience has provided me with the empathy to teach ESL students, because I understand what it is like to feel lost in a foreign country.

I have been teaching ESL both in Canada and internationally for the past 7 years.

I volunteer tutor new immigrants to Canada. I also enjoy cooking, reading and exercising. I like being outdoors, especially hiking and kayaking. I am also learning to play the piano, you are never too old to learn!
