Learning is a doing. In order to learn we must do. We must think, act, be, and make think. We must learn, we must teach, we must give. In order for students to learn they must be catered to, but presented with just enough difficulty to master a great challenge one step at a time.

I graduated Coastal Carolina as an English Major and Business Administration Minor(Magna Cum Laude & Most Distinguished English Major). I am currently enrolled in the Master’s of Arts in Teaching Secondary English Program at the same institution.

I have tutored and mentored all types of students. I have experience with elementary schoolers, middle schoolers, high schoolers, college students, and special needs adults and children. I have worked several programs both during the summer and school year that have required me to tutor in English: Literacy, Analysis and Writing.

I love reading Toni Morrison, writing poetry and fiction, laughing to stay alive, attending Jazz Clubs and Jazz Festivals, baking cakes and pastries, telling good stories, going to amusement Parks, traveling, and spending quality time with those I love.
