I believe that every student in important and my passion excites students to achieve. Students are taught how; then they practice the skills. The skills should be authentic, real-world problems.

I received my first Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education at Hamline University in Minnesota. I also received Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting and Math. My Master’s Degree was done in Education at the University of Minnesota. I am a certified teacher in Florida and Minnesota.

I have been teaching in the classroom since 1974. I am particularly good at reaching out to disadvantaged and under-served populations, such as culturally challenged, poor, or disenfranchised students. I understand the extra effort it takes to achieve against the odds.

I have always been very involved in school activities, including school clubs and sports.
