I believe that all students have the right and ability to learn. Life experiences and perspectives can yield an engaging academic environment. Having an education provides you with a solid foundation for future goals and endeavors. I want all my students to feel confident, secure, and validated in my classroom.

I’ve taken full advantage of the educational opportunities afforded to me. I received a scholarship for my undergraduate degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude in my bachelor’s and Master’s degree. I then pursued a career in education to help encourage and foster a love of learning in others.

I acted as a substitute teacher during my coursework to obtain my Master’s degree. I completed my student teaching at the high school level. I am now currently teaching elementary students. I’ve been able to create a productive learning environment no matter the age level of my students.

In the past, I coached Junior High Girls’ basketball which I enjoyed very much. I assist my current school in revising and editing their handbook and with gathering donations for their auctions. Personally, I enjoy spending time with my family.
