I believe that all students are capable of learning and loving learning. We all have different natural abilities. People need additional practice at different things, and more time, focus, and individual attention greatly helps learning.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences and then went on to receive my Master’s Degree in Education. I am currently licensed to teach in the state of Oregon.
I have 11 years of public school teaching experience. I taught middle school math and science, primarily. I have tutored many students in math.
I enjoy many outdoor activities including downhill and nordic skiing, mountain biking, hiking, climbing mountains, and running. I love the mountains and wild places.
I also play the mandolin. Community involvement is very important to me.
