I believe all children can learn given the right support and approach. Learning doesn’t have to be stressful. I believe in engaging students to seek answers and question the world around them. I teach students how to be lifelong learners.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal. I graduated in 1987. I also have more than 20 years of extensive on the job training in a variety of industries from information technology to education.
For the past few years I have taught in an International Baccalaureate school in Ottawa. I teach at the Middle School and High School levels. I also teach special courses to younger students, introducing them to the wonders of science and engineering. I also owned my own business running summer science camps in the Ottawa area (since 2005).
I enjoy spending time at home with my family and pets. I love cooking and taking long walks. I also enjoy traveling. I love watching movies, especially with my kids, because it helps me relax.
