I believe that all children have the potential for growth, and it is our duty as educators to help them realize their maximum potential. I believe that I not only teach a subject, but I also teach the life skills and values that are crucial to a student’s success, no matter what their chosen career path may be. As a tutor, I focus on the student’s personal strengths and areas for development when creating a student-centered learning plan.

I received an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor’s of Education from University of Toronto. I am also a member of the Ontario College of Teachers and have Qualified Teachers Status in the UK.

I have experience teaching English as a First Language abroad. I also have experience teaching Science and Math in the United Kingdom. More recently, I have been a supply teacher in Ontario.

I like to try new things. I’ve taken lessons in cooking, scuba diving, salsa dancing, fencing, beginner’s Spanish and watercolour painting. I like anything to do with water including swimming and canoeing, and I love to ski.
