My goal is to prepare students for what lies ahead of them in the academic process. I believe that all students have the ability to succeed as long as they put forth the effort to live up to their full potential.
I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and I attended Northrop High School. I then earned a bachelor’s degree at Indiana University. I majored in Psychology and minored in English.
I worked for 12 years at an accredited college preparatory international boarding and day school. I taught both junior high and high school language arts classes as well as English as a Second Language courses.
I was an Artsfest Leadership Committee Member, and I prepared and accompanied student performers for this event. I was also a House Team Leader/Coach for school-wide competitive events. Additionally, I tutored students in guitar playing and singing, and also organized musical programs.
