I think the most important thing I can teach students is how to learn and find information. It’s not just enough to pass on what I know, but I want to give them the tools to find out the information they need in order to be successful.

I have a Master’s in Education in Instructional Media from Wilkes University. I completed my teaching certification requirements plus 15 hours special education classes at Texas A&M Commerce. Prior to both of these, I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Ball State University. I continue to learn through professional development classes.

I am currently tutoring students and adults in English and computer applications. Last year I taught Engineering, Manufacturing and Robotics at the high school level. I student taught Computer Animation to high school students.

Last year my students were involved with Skills USA in Technical Drafting. I was the sponsor for the Robotics Club at our high school. I have also worked with the Upward Bound program with high school students.
