I understand that every student is unique, and my duty as a teacher is to ensure that I adapt my teaching methods and strategies to suit every child. The young minds of today are capable of excellence, and in each lesson I strive to develop the critical consciousness of every student in order to prepare them to be active citizens of the world.

I have completed an undergraduate honors degree at the University of Toronto with a double major in English Literature and Human Geography. I am also working towards the completion of teachers college at OISE U of T, and will be finished by June 2015.

I have taught for the past year in a private school in Toronto. I have taught several classes including Grades 11 and 12 English (university stream) as well as the Ontario Secondary Literacy Course. I have over 5 years of English and ESL tutoring as well.

I am an avid reader and creative writer. I will often suggest novels for students to read in their spare time to develop their literacy and interest in literature. I enjoy trying new foods and exploring the beauty of the world.
