I make sure that my students fully understand the material I explain by applying it to everyday experience. To solidify the concepts, I give examples that are common to our everyday lives. My goal is to make sure the students not only could solve problems, but also apply it to our common experiences.
I am currently enrolled in an Honors Biology program at Saint Peter’s University in New Jersey. I am interested in pursuing my studies in the medical field.
I am currently a science tutor. I try to help my students strengthen their weaknesses. I was privileged to be one of a selective few who hold the ability to tutor students my university. In many instances, I was able to simplify a concept by actually conducting a simple experiment. I endeavor to make my classes engaging; I instill confidence and determination into many students.
I was the Vice President for the class of 2015 during my junior year. This honourable position has strengthened and solidified my communication skills greatly. I was also the Government Association (SGA) President. This position has taught me to effectively negotiate with others and engage in productive talks. I am currently a volunteer in the Emergency room at a medical centre. I was also the secretary of the honours club in my junior year.
