I believe that each and every child can be taught. I believe that the future of each child depends on the knowledge that they achieve in school beginning in the elementary grades. Education is the foundation of children becoming successful and an asset to the community they live in. There are no children that can not be taught.
I completed my BS in Elementary Education at Texas Tech University in 1991. I went to college while raising 4 children.
I have been a substitute teacher for two different school districts. I also had a home day care for two years where I led classroom activities for the children.
I love helping with the school activities of my grandchildren. I am the treasurer of the high school booster club. I am a member of the Eagle Volunteer Organization which helps the students get volunteer hours by helping in things like feeding the homeless and collecting toys for children at Christmas. I also love to read and do crafts.
