Learners should be immersed in the material they are learning. It is essential to connect with the learner, how they learn, and to use this information to incorporate into teaching. In this way a meaningful lesson has occurred.

I received my a diploma in Community Studies from College of the North Atlantic before pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Education at Memorial University of Newfoundland. I am now a certified teacher in Newfoundland and Labrador.

I have experience teaching in a classroom environment and working with students after school in a one-on-one environment.

I love to read, write, and sketch. I also love to go hiking and camping in the summertime, and enjoy outdoor activities all year round. I love tutoring and volunteering with children of all backgrounds and ages.
