An outstanding teacher should be caring and knowledgeable. Teachers must know their content well enough to break it down into simple parts, especially the math curriculum. Teachers must also be able to work with students and their special needs and show they care about each student’s success.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, my Master’s Degree in Secondary Math and also have a certification in Secondary Math education. I hold a licence in the state of Georgia and have taught for 30 years in the public and private schools around Georgia.

In addition to working with students in the classroom, I also worked as an SAT consultant where I helped my high school students with the ACT, SAT and PSAT preparations in the classroom and outside the classroom setting since then.

I enjoy church activities, cooking meals for the Ronald McDonald home, sewing quilts and blankets for the children in hospitals.
