EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
There are many methods for doing most problems in math. I believe in showing my students the simplest method so that it will help them be as successful as possible. I do not care so much for correct answers as I do for the learning process. My role as an educator is to help my students gain a deep understanding for the material so that they can become critical thinkers.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I graduated from Madonna University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree, majoring in math. I also received my teacher certification for secondary mathematics from Madonna as well. I am currently earning a Master’s in Math Education from Concordia University. I will have my Master’s degree in the fall of 2014.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have experience as both a Math teacher and tutor with over 10 years of combined experience.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I have a very active social life and enjoy the company of my friends and fiance on the weekends. My ideal place to live would be Colorado so that I could enjoy rock climbing, white water rafting, and hiking every weekend.
