EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
As a tutor, I strive to provide the best assistance possible to students who need guidance. I try to narrow down what the students know and do not know in order for them to get the most out of the experience. I will provide a positive, friendly environment and try to make learning as fun for them as it is for me!
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Ever since I was little, I loved math and later on grew to love science even more. Math is really fun but I have a different passion for chemistry. I was on the high school math team and on the Honor Roll for math and chemistry in college. This lead me to acquire a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have experience tutoring high school and college level students in one-on-one cases.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I have done a lot of projects over the time when I was in the National Honor Society in high school. Since then, I have volunteered for several non-profit organizations such as Chicago Cares, Lakeview Pantry, and HandsOn Jacksonville. I also have different hobbies: fishing, bowling, and trivia night, to name a few.
