EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Being a possitive role model is my number one goal of teaching. If I love to learn, my students love to learn. Being flexible and creative is what it takes to give everyone that “lightbulb moment”. That’s my favorite thing about teaching.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I have an Associate of Arts – Transfer degree from Ozarks Technical Community College where I completed my general education. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Middle School Education – Language Arts/Social Studies with a minor in Literacy.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have worked in two classrooms previously. I taught pre-K/Kindergarten music and Spanish and assisted in everyday lessons. I worked in a Kindergarten classroom assisting with everyday lessons. I also was a tutor/mentor for a Middle School In-School Suspension program.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I have played softball for more than 12 years. I helped to coach my little sister’s softball and soccer team. I was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, an honors society, where I was a project leader for two conferences.
STANDARDIZED TEST RESULTS
I received a score or 29 on my ACT exam.
