As an educator, I constantly strive for an interaction that is dynamic, flexible, and student-centered. My work as a tutor springs from my desire to thrive in an environment that values the learning process and each student’s growth.

I received my Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley. I have been an English teacher and private tutor for the past 14 years; I’ve taught ESL since 2005. I have significant experience with students aged 5 – 65, across a spectrum of abilities and motivations.

I tutor in English, History, Math, Humanities, SAT, ACT, and GRE. I enjoy teaching dance, yoga, and theater arts as well.

I enjoy Bikram yoga, travel, and family and friends. I have taught in Rio de Janeiro, Budapest, Istanbul, NYC, and many other cities. I also enjoy games and logic puzzles.

I received a score of 750 on my GRE Verbal test which was in the 99th percentile.
