I believe that children need to be taught in a way that is based on their individual needs. As a teacher/tutor, I always try to match my teaching style to the student’s learning style. I believe in a well-rounded education that includes a variety of disciplines, because many of the skills learned in individual disciplines can carry over to other areas and contribute to a positive learning experience.

I currently have a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a minor in Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.

I have experience working in the classroom with students and also tutoring students one-on-one.

I have been involved with the elementary school choirs, public speaking events, and school concerts. I have also volunteered for many years as a Spark leader and Sunday School teacher.
