EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Each student always need to be encouraged to explore whatever sparks their curiosity. Each student has a unique learning style and educators need to tailor their teaching strategies to the specific learning styles of their students.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto, with a major in Chemistry. Also at the University of Toronto, I obtained a Masters degree in Physical Chemistry. At the University of Western Ontario, I obtained a Bachelor of Education with qualifications in intermediate to senior Math and Chemistry.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have worked as a Secondary Occasional Teacher for the Thames Valley District School Board. I am also a grade ten, online math tutor. In the past, I have taught grade nine academic and grade eleven advanced math for the Thames Valley District School Board. Additionally, I have taught math for the Toronto District School Board, specifically grade nine to ten academic Math, grade twelve advanced Math, Algebra and Geometry.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I am very physically active, I am a runner and cyclist. I also enjoy recreational weight training in my free time. I love to sit down with a good novel. I spend my weekends hiking and cycling with my two boys.
