Everyone learns at a different rate and in a different way. The successful teacher will listen to the student and understand how they learn best. Everyone has a story to tell. It is important for the teacher to listen.

I received a Bachelor’s Degree in First Nations History and then a Bachelor’s Degree in Education at the University of Calgary with a practicum in several elementary schools including a Storefront school and a school on a reserve.

I have had teaching experiences in elementary public schools, as well as schools for students who are not in the mainstream system. I currently teach in an Adult Education setting.

I am on the board for Valley Therapeutic Equestrian Association and I also volunteer at the ranch every Saturday. I am a member of the Fraser Valley Magic Circle where I fill the position of Secretary. I am also a performing magician.
