I believe in Cal Poly’s philosophy of “Learn by Doing”. Each student needs to be actively involved in the learning process. I streamline the instruction to what the student knows and what the student needs, using examples that the student is familiar with using.

I have a Certificate in College Counseling and have guided many students through the college admissions and financial aid processes. I also have a teaching credential in Social Science and Math and have also personalized all my classes for special needs students.

I have taught all levels math for many years. I help students reduce their math anxiety by showing them how to link previous math knowledge with their current study.

I enjoy swimming and cooking. I also enjoy watching football and baseball, especially the USC Trojans, SDSU Aztecs, Chargers & Padres. I am involved with my church and am currently developing a college admission night for the church.
