First and foremost, I teach through a collaborative approach. I value everyone’s input and want students to not only learn from my but one another as well. I feel that compassion as well as leadership are essential tools for every teacher to get the best out of their students. My main teaching goal is to facilitate the success of my students.

I have completed a Bachelors degree from Trent University majoring in History and Sociology. I also completed my Bachelor of Education Degree from Trent University. I am currently working on my Master’s of Education through Lakehead University. I pride myself as a life long learner.

Last year, I worked for a government organization that helped students complete their OSAP and college/ university applications. It was a great opportunity to get my foot into the door and travel to many diverse classrooms.

I love sports. I played lacrosse throughout my upbringing and then continued to play in university. and now play hockey recreational. I now play recreational hockey and hope to coach lacrosse in the near future.
