EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
I believe that knowledge is the most important tool one can possess to become successful in life. The ability to provide knowledge to children is vital because this is the time when children can learn the most material. I believe that I have the communication tools and the necessary knowledge to be able to teach children very well and make them understand concepts.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I have a Bachelor’s Degree of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. I was nominated for the E.E. Livesey Award for high academic achievement. I am also a part of the Golden Key International Honour Society for high academic achievement. I have taken all the first year science undergraduate classes including physics, chemistry, and biology and have good understanding of high school math.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I was a Kinesiologist lab assistant at Langara College and taught undergraduate students anatomy, physiology and biomechanics. This could have been in one on one or in group sessions. Students come with questions on how to study, memory tricks and general understanding inquiries.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I currently volunteer at an Emergency unit at a hospital and have volunteered at a physiotherapist clinic in the past.
