I have a genuine love for education (learning and teaching) and it brings me joy when I get my students to see the value in what they are learning. Education is a journey, it’s a way of life, and it can open you up to a lifetime of happiness. I provide traditional education for those students who thrive on it, but I also like to break the educational paradigms for those who need a change. I believe that open-mindedness is the key to a successful learning experience.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with a minor in Biology and I am in the process of completing my Master’s in Educational Administration. I have done all my studies in a Francophone university, but I am fully bilingual (French and English). I have also recently became a UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools facilitator.
I have been teaching in elementary and middle schools for the past 4 years. I have also done some one-on-one tutoring with students grades 1-12 (French, Math and Science/Biology) as well as in-school homework help with students grades 9-12.
I have coached several team sports including soccer, softball and volleyball. I’m also a creative person who likes to draw and do all sorts of crafts. I’m slowly learning Spanish and am looking forward to learning to play the guitar and the piano in the near future.
