I believe that all students are capable of learning and producing quality work; however, not all students learn in the same way. Identifying and leveraging learning strengths can enhance performance. As a teacher/tutor, I desire to help my students achieve excellence by helping them leverage their learning style, even in an online format.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in English and History and then went on to receive both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Education. I am a certified teacher in the province of Ontario.

I have been teaching since 1992. I have taught English and Social Studies from Grade 6-12. I have also served as an elementary and secondary school principal, and a high school curriculum director.

I am actively involved in my community as a volunteer in my son’s school, and in the political sphere as well. I also work with young people at my church. On the side, I enjoy writing fiction for young readers and reading.
