Teachers should possess the capabilities of promoting teamwork while inspiring individuals to reach their full potential through well-developed organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills.

I first attended Iowa State University where I completed a Bachelor of Science in English and Education. Next, I attended Western Michigan University, where I completed my Masters of Educational Leadership. I also have completed the Michigan Professional Certification in grades 6 to 12 English and Reading.

I am responsible for 9th grade reading curriculum development and instruction and continued academic support with literature and writing for the 10th and 11th grade English and Reading courses. As well, I am responsible for Honors English grade 11 instruction and ACT Preparation curriculum development and instruction. Additionally I run the Creative Writing curriculum and instruction.

I am involved with extracurricular activities at the school I teach at. Such as being responsible for the yearbook curriculum, which include designing, marketing and executing a reflective and creative piece for the school community.
