EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
I believe that every child should have the opportunity to learn and in student-centered learning environments.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I received my bachelors in history from The City College of NY in 2008. While a student a CCNY, I was the president of the CCNY History Club and a Buckley Prize in History award recipient.
I obtained an M.S. in Education from Long Island University in 2011 and was awarded a scholarship due to my potential to be a great educator and my bilingualism. Due to my experience as an educator and satisfactory GACE exam grades, I became certified to teach Early Childhood education in Georgia during the summer of 2013. I am currently a Montessori Humanities teacher and will be receiving Montessori training soon.
Currently, I am a student at Columbus State University enrolled in the Ed.S in Educational Leadership program due to my aspirations to become a future administrator.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have experience teaching in the classroom for almost seven years.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I love to travel around the world and learn many cultures, dance, read historical fiction and write.
