My goal is to educate, empower and inspire students to be inquirers, leaders and creative thinkers, in a safe, inclusive and positive environment filled with a passion for learning.

I completed four years at the University of Guelph, graduating with a Bachelors of Applied Science, majoring in Child, Youth and Family Studies with a certificate in Early Childhood Education. I then completed my Bachelors of Education at Wilfrid Laurier. I’ve also completed additional qualifications courses related to Special Education and Kindergarten.

I have worked as an Occasional Teacher and Occasional Early Childhood Educator for the Waterloo Region. I also supply taught in every grade from kindergarten to grade eight.

Personally, I really enjoy photography, running, kick boxing, geocaching, sports, travel and getting lost in a good book.
