I believe that all students have the ability to learn the material if given the proper motivation and encouragement. Some students struggle with material when they feel lack a of confidence in themselves. Being a tutor/ teacher, it is my responsibility to make the material interesting and meaningful to the students and to increase the confidence of my students so that they believe in themselves.

I started Community College for two years then transferred to the University of Texas at Austin. In 2010, I completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Education. Subsequent to this, I then went on to complete a Master’s Degree in Mathematics. I graduated from the University of Texas in 2013 with my Master’s Degree in Mathematics.

I have always enjoyed reading all sorts of books, school and leisure. Having recently graduated school, I now find that I have plenty of free time for leisure reading. I also enjoy playing with my two dogs, watching TV shows, and crocheting.
