My number one goal in tutoring math is to help kids find more fun and confidence in the subject! In addition to this, I strongly believe in teaching students according to how they learn best: some prefer visual exams, some need to explain in back to you, etc. In addition to teaching, I am also an actor so I use this to engage with students bring more fun to the subject.

I finished high school with grades in the high 90s and with a bilingual certificate. I then went to The University of Waterloo and graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics in Both Pure and Applied math and a minor in Philosophy. I worked in mathematics for a few years and then studied Theatre Performance at a Conservatory program.

I have experience working with students in large groups and one-on-one in a variety of math and math-related subjects.

I am an actor. I also love to figure skate, read, and sing. I love teaching because I feel that it allows me to use my artistic skills to help students with a subject that is sometimes perceived as emotionless.
