Education is an ever-changing environment. Educators are asked, every day, to become what students need. In a world where everything is more hands-on, old methods are hard to utilize. I view teaching and education in general as a way to revamp and change how I teach to better serve students; it’s exciting!

I attended college immediately after high school, and I earned my BA in English and minored in Art History and Poetry. I took a semester off, and I tutored college students. I then earned my MA in English, and I am now about to attend graduate school again for my doctorate in English.

I have taught for four years. I have been a part-time English instructor, a high school teacher, and a full time college instructor. I’ve also tutored since 2008. I have plenty of face-to-face experience, as well as online experience.

I love to go camping and hiking: anything outdoors. I absolutely adore music. My favorite summer activity is going to music festivals. I also love to cook. My friends and I get together once every week or so and we have family dinner. We theme our dinners, so we always get to try out new stuff.
