Students need to be heard and treated with respect. This opens channels of communication, laying the foundation for learning. Classrooms and learning environments should be somewhat relaxed and also interesting. We learn best when we are relaxed.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree and Doctorate Degree in Communications. With these credentials, I have taught at all levels, tutored and mentored many students in my academic career.

I have been teaching in higher education for about 10 years and have had a myriad of experiences. One of my favourite experiences was having a student with a learning disability be one of the highest scoring students in my class!

I like reading, visiting museums and other cultural places. I enjoy travelling. I also enjoy spending time with family. I like to volunteer my time to helping new immigrants with their English.
