Try, try again. Whether one is naturally gifted in an area or struggles, trying your hardest is always essential for success. If a person can try their hardest, I know they can succeed.

I earned my history and political science degree at Smith College. I have also earned my J.D. at Drake University Law School. I have always been ambitious when it comes to education and always try to aim high.

I have mentored in the program Big Brothers/ Big Sisters. With my little sister I helped with daily homework and weekly projects. I have also worked with individuals with disabilities and tutored in math and reading.

I played sports for most of my life and have played basketball, softball, lacrosse, field hockey and rugby. I have volunteered in many different programs such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters at Drake and the Bar Association at Smith. I have also participated in many clubs and associations, most recently the Black Law Student Association, where I was the Vice President during my last year of law school.
