My educational philosophy is that you need to understand why something works before you memorize the formula for how it works. Math is not memorizing; it is learning the background information, so you don’t have to memorize.

I attended high school from 2006 until 2010, where I excelled in Mathematics. I attended Mount Mercy University and achieved a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and minored in Psychology. Overall, the experience was very rewarding, and I learned a lot from my educators and peers.

While at Mount Mercy I played Basketball for one year, and was an active member of the Math Club for four years. While in the Math Club I was a part of the High school math competition for three separate years.

I scored a 27 out of a possible 36 on my ACT.
