Students learn in a variety of ways and have differing skills and talents. Some subjects are going to come easily to students, others are not. Educators should be willing to try and understand their students in order to find ways to explain a subject to a student who is finding it difficult.
I graduated with honors from High School and went on to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture. I enjoy learning and have studied a variety of subjects including Writing Stories and Books for Children, Counselling, TESOL and TEYL.
I home school my own children, have tutored high school math, home schooled a Korean student with my own daughter in kindergarten and was a teaching assistant at the local Christian elementary school.
I enjoy reading, walking and volunteering with our church. One of my daughters is gifted in understanding how to work with animals, so she and I are currently learning to train a German Shepherd in agility. My other three children are musical and artistic so I spend a fair amount of time listening to various genres of music and encouraging them in their acquisition of skills.
