I believe that everyone has the right to learn, that learning is life long, and that education involves more than academics. We must look at the student and their needs as a whole.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University (IUPUI). I also have a Kindergarten endorsement which means I have training in early education and did an extra student teaching in Kindergarten.

I have over ten years experience working in the classroom at an elementary level.

I play tennis, direct our church youth praise band, and tutor. I play the trumpet, and am involved in my sons high school band. I am in charge of organizing and assigning band uniforms to each student.
